All apartments are ADA compliant (see our floor plans here), and should a transition from supportive independent to assisted living become necessary, there is no need to move to a different apartment.

Life in the Park
There is really nothing comparable. Generally, senior living sites are selected on busy streets, simply to increase visibility. But is that better?
In a word, NO.
The unique opportunity at Anthem Lakes was to create a destination worth going to, with a design vision being a bit like a ski lodge in the fall season, inviting and comfortable inside, but nestled in an exceptional outdoor setting. The property offers high ground (over the 500-year flood plain), featuring woods that slope gently down to a bordering creek and frontage on a five-acre lake with our own dock. Three ponds, two manicured and one woodland style, attract a great variety of birdlife.
We created apartments with views of the park, woodlands, and water, as well as opportunities for walking and resting and enjoying the outdoors, all without leaving the property.
Location, location, location
The charming town of Atlantic Beach is nearby, with shops and restaurants and more. Hanna Park is as well, with perhaps the finest white sand beaches in NE Florida.
Two great hospitals are convenient: Baptist Beaches and the Mayo Clinic (U.S. News & World Report ranked the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville as the best hospital in Florida.)
Of special interest to veterans, the commissary is only a block away, with the City of Jacksonville being a preferred retirement destination and home to Naval Air Station Jacksonville and Naval Station Mayport, as well as the Marine Corps Support Facility and the Jacksonville Air National Guard.
